The Scholarship Benefit is a fun-filled
evening that benefits the children of St. Rita School for the Deaf while guests in attendance enjoy
delicious food, drinks, lively entertainment, a silent auction, and a chance to win big bucks!
Each $125 ticket includes: admittance for 2,
appetizers, dinner, dessert, wine / beer, and 1 raffle ticket. The Scholarship Benefit is from 7-11 p.m.
and will be held at the Evendale Recreation Center: 10500 Reading Road, Evendale, OH 45241
This year's theme is: A
Night of Treasures (come see who we treasure most!)
Guests are invited to come dressed in pirate attire. There will be awards for
the best dressed! Pirate attire is not required. We want all guests to wear
whatever
is most comfortable.
The Scholarship
Benefit’s purpose is to raise funds to
ensure the high quality of education St. Rita School for the Deaf
offers to
children six weeks through 21 years of age who are deaf or who
need special methods of communication and technological support. Families
pay tuition on a sliding fee scale. Many of our student’s family incomes fall below the poverty level and financial assistance
is necessary. No student is ever denied an education because of his or her family’s
inability to pay. Thus, our fundraising efforts are of utmost importance
in assuring that St. Rita School for the Deaf
continues in its rich tradition of
educating deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
How you can help:
*Attend or host a Gift Gathering Party on behalf of St. Rita School to collect items
for the silent auction
*Help run the silent auction during the event
*Help decorate for the event
*Donate gift cards to restaurants/businesses or other items for the silent auction
*Get your company to sponsor the event
*Get your company to purchase tables for your office holiday party
*Be a table captain
