Earth/Arbor Day
Every year students and staff come together to celebrate both Earth and Arbor Day. Special
programs in conjunction with the Learning Gardens reinforce the importance of recycling, water
conservation, and planting trees to help the earth.
On April 22nd, the whole school celebrated Earth Day. Students performed skits focusing on water
problems throughout the world. There were demonstrations about water contamination by Hamilton County
Parks, as well as a station about recycling lead by Rumpke Waste and Recycling Co. After the
demonstrations, everyone met in the gardens for a special prayer by Father William Wysong.
