Haunted House Monster
Purpose
During the month of October, St. Rita School for the Deaf hosts the longest running Haunted House in the
area on Thursday through Sunday nights. With the help of the Greater Springdale Jaycees and countless
volunteers it provides entertainment for the community. All money raised will benefit the children
attending St. Rita School for the Deaf who are deaf and hard of hearing and also those children who
need special methods of communication and technological support. Last year the Haunted House netted
$30,000 for the school.
Brief Description of Work
Looking for volunteers willing to put on make-up and costumes to become a part of the Haunted House
for the evening. Volunteers would be scaring individuals as they come through the House.

Qualifications Sought
Able to assume a character role, willing to put on make-up and dress in costume, needs to be a person who
likes to have fun, willing to scare

Requirements
Must be at least 14 years of age, need to be able to stay the entire evening assigned, need to be able to
start working at 6:00 p.m.
