Table Captain

Purpose
Each November St. Rita School for the Deaf hosts a Scholarship Benefit. The Benefit is a dinner celebration to raise money for the scholarship fund at the school. The event is an evening filled with entertainment, music, a reverse raffle, and auctions. Past themes have included a “Sock Hop” and a “Cruise”. All money raised will benefit the children attending St. Rita School for the Deaf who are deaf and hard of hearing and also those children who need special methods of communication and technological support.

Brief Description of Work
In order for the Scholarship Benefit to be a success, a certain number of tickets must be sold. A table captain would be in charge of selling tickets to fill tables. There are 8 seats at a table. Tickets sell for $125 couple, which includes dinner, a chance in the reverse raffle, appetizers, and drinks (beer, and wine).
