Tutor
Purpose
English is considered a foreign language to deaf students. Giving students additional
instruction and reinforcement allows for less frustration, which benefits the student in and outside
the classroom. Reading and writing continue to be a challenge to deaf students who have never heard
the English language before so any additional help they can receive is beneficial.
