Family Fun Night
The First Family Game Night for the students and staff of St. Rita was a great success. The majority of our games were led by students who participate in student council in conjunction with wonderful volunteers. The night would not have been possible without the help of the PTO. Many of our dedicated parents and teachers baked goodies for our cake walk and/or volunteered to help run activities. I would also like to thank the maintenance staff that set up the bingo game.
To recap, the night's activities included ASL tap games, ASL storytelling, bingo, cake walk, wii games, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, face painting, pictionary and UNO. It was exciting to see families interacting together in such a positive way. Student council is considering having another Family Game night in May to include the entire school as long as we have enough volunteers to run games.
If you are interested in helping with a school wide event, please email [email protected]so I can add you to my volunteer list.
