Annual St. Rita Golf Outing

The 2021 Golf Outing will benefit the 110+ students serviced annually by St. Rita School for the Deaf. 

Honoring and Remembering Mike Cappel (1947-2020).  Mike left an incredible mark on St. Rita School for the Deaf where he taught from 1974-2010.  He coached 6 different varsity sports, established the St. Rita Hall of Fame, and served as the Athletic Director from 1981 to 2010.

How to Handle Your Child's Anxiety During the Pandemic

Mark your calendar for March 9th!  We will be hosting a zoom meeting to help parents navigate helping their child manage their anxiety through this pandemic.  You don't have to have a child at St. Rita to join, so please share this with your friends and family!  Also, an ASL interpreter will be provided.

Founder's Day!

Founder's Day: 105 Years of Impacting Our Community!

Honoring the past, celebrating the present, and cultivating the future!          

October 16, 2020 - Schedule of Events

- 10:30am - Balloon Release: Students will let 105 biodegradable balloons go in honor of our anniversary (watch live on Facebook). 
- 12:00pm - President Angela Frith will honor Fr. Waldhaus by laying flowers at his grave site (watch on YouTube).
-  1:30pm - Chalk Mural: Students will be drawing and coloring a 105 chalk mural (watch on Facebook).
-  2:30pm - Photos from the Archives: 105 years of St. Rita history through pictures (watch on YouTube).
