🧹🍃Our Work Study students are taking their skills beyond campus! They began their exciting off-campus work experience at The Acres. It all kicked off with some green-thumb action as they took care of the outdoor plants, along with tidying up the putt-putt courses. 🌿🏌️♂️

This week, Miss Shelby's class had much fun exploring "The Very Hungry Caterpillar!" They practiced sequencing and story retelling and even learned some ASL vocabulary. It was a great way to learn and have fun at the same time. 🐛📕🖍️ #TheVeryHungryCaterpillar

📚Join me on a delightful adventure at ASL story time with Ms. Laura, where we explored the pages of "Goodnight Moon"! 🌙✨ Let's cherish the joy of storytelling and inspire young minds! 🤟💫 #ASLStoryTime #GoodnightMoon #StorytellingMagic #InspireYoungMinds

Our school counselor, Ms. Bethany, is our first featured staff member for #TransformationTuesday. She has been with us since the Fall of 2014. Ms. Bethany attended the Tennessee School for the Deaf Vikings for nine years and graduated from Maryville High School in 2007. In 2011, she earned a Human and Community Service BA from Lenior-Rhyne University, and in 2013, she graduated with an MA in School Counseling from Liberty University. A fun fact about Ms. Bethany is that she was a college football mascot during her senior year!
