We are thrilled to share that our alum, Kevin Hall, has been honored with the 2025 Adrian Stills Award from the APGA Tour! Kevin continues to shine both on and off the course, earning a Deaflympics silver medal, multiple top-10 finishes this season, and showing exceptional leadership in the golf community. As part of this recognition, Kevin will receive support for his playing career and the chance to give back to a charity of his choice. Congratulations, Kevin! Your St. Rita family is so proud of you. 💚

Financial Literacy in Action! In Ms. Eileen’s Financial Literacy class, our seniors worked on a Christmas Tree Budget Project. Each student had $125 to buy one tree and decorations, and they all stayed under budget!
Great job to our seniors for planning, comparing prices, and making smart choices. 💚✨

ASL Visitors Teaching Christmas Cheer! Today, seniors from the Mercy McAuley ASL class visited our preschool students and taught them a Christmas song. The little ones were so excited to learn the signs for “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and loved practicing with their new ASL friends. ❤️🦌

Thank you, Mercy McAuley, for sharing the holiday spirit with our preschoolers! 💚

Our preschoolers decorated their Christmas tree with gentle hands, curious hearts, and joyful smiles. In the laughter, in the little voices saying “Merry Christmas,” we see what giving truly means.

Your generosity lights their path, not just today, but for every tomorrow.

ASL Visitors from Lakota East! A few days before Thanksgiving break, we welcomed students from the Lakota East High School ASL classes to St. Rita! They spent the late morning interacting with our K–6 students, playing Thanksgiving games, and coloring together. Our students had such a great time learning, signing, and connecting with new friends. Thank you for visiting us, and come back anytime! 💚

🦃 Thanksgiving Prayer Service. Before heading into Thanksgiving break, our school gathered for a beautiful Thanksgiving Prayer Service led by Ms. Kim, Ms. Beth, and Ms. Eileen. We sang together, reflected on the meaning of thanksgiving, and shared what we are grateful for our community, families, friends, and the many blessings we have at St. Rita. The service closed with a heartfelt prayer from Fr. Charles. Thank you to everyone who helped make this moment so meaningful for our students and staff. 💛💚

💚 In Loving Memory of Chuck Walker💛 It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Chuck Walker, a beloved former teacher and longtime baseball, football, and basketball coach at St. Rita School for the Deaf.

Chuck dedicated many years to our students, our teams, and our community. He was a proud father of 3, a trusted colleague, and someone who brought joy, strength, and heart into everything he did.
We are deeply grateful for his service to St. Rita. His impact lives on in the countless students he taught and the athletes he coached. He will be truly missed.

Please keep Chuck’s family in your prayers during this difficult time.
