🐾 Wellness Wednesday at St. Rita! Yesterday, Ms. Bethany invited the Pet Partners of Greater Cincinnati to bring their amazing therapy dogs to campus! 🐶📚

Our students and staff had the best time reading books with the dogs. It was a perfect way to relax, refocus, and clear our minds midweek. 💚

Yesterday, we welcomed special guests from DWAVE (Deaf World Against Violence Everywhere) all the way from Columbus, Ohio! They met with our high school students to talk about staying safe, knowing your rights, and understanding where to turn for support in difficult situations whether it’s getting an interpreter for the police, hospitals, or other emergencies.
We’re so thankful to DWAVE for educating and empowering our students to advocate for themselves and others in the Deaf community. 🦁

🎬 Yesterday in Digital Media with Mr. Jon, our high school students went outside to film the 3–6 students for an upcoming project. One of the 3–6 students was so excited and begged to help with the filming, and our high school crew made it happen! 🎥
