🚒 Yesterday, the Evendale Fire Department came to SRS to teach fire safety. They talked with our Pre-K to 6th grade students about what to do if they smell smoke or see fire. 🔥 Our students learned a lot and enjoyed seeing a firefighter in full gear with a mask on. 👩🚒 Thank you for visiting!

Ms. Kindra and Ms. Nanci's class adopted a cow named Peony. Today, we learned all about where she lives and who takes care of her. We will receive updates on her and be able to ask the owners questions throughout the school year.








Last Thursday, before our students left for early release, 84.51 provided mini pumpkins for everyone to decorate. 🎃 Thank you, 84.51, for giving our students a fun activity! They were so excited to take their pumpkins home and show them to their families.

Afterward, we played some games, including a fun rock, paper, and scissors tournament between students and teachers. It was a blast watching everyone compete before heading home for early release!

Our K-2 students enjoyed coloring pictures, visiting the pumpkin patch, searching for toy bugs in the shaving cream, and having a delicious cookout lunch.
