This week, some of our high school students attended the All-City Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains in downtown Cincinnati for Catholic Schools Week. 🙏 They also enjoyed a special lunch outing on the way back to school. It was a memorable day!

🚓🚒 Celebrating Catholic Schools Week with Gratitude! This morning, we invited our local police and fire departments from Evendale to St. Rita School for the Deaf to thank them for their service. Our students and staff shared cake and cookies, along with heartfelt letters and coloring pages made by our students as a token of appreciation.
Then, we taught them how to use sign language and played some Deaf-friendly games. It was so much fun! Our students had a great time connecting and learning together. 💙
Thank you for all you do to keep our community safe!

Yesterday, in environmental Science class, our students learned about fossils. They acted like archaeologists, using tools to explore buried fossils. After they discovered pieces of dinosaur bones, they combined them into a whole body. They were great scientists!

Last Friday, during our Professional Day, motivational speaker Mark Anthony Garrett visited St. Rita School for the Deaf. He shared his story of overcoming challenges and how his role model inspired him. His message was heartfelt and inspiring for our teachers and staff.

In Honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Today, we reflect on the legacy of Dr. King, whose message of peace, unity, and equality continues to inspire us.
As Dr. King said, "Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’" Let’s honor his vision by spreading kindness, serving others, and building a stronger community together.
