Last week, students from Lakota West, Lakota East, and St. Rita came together for an end of the year hangout at Eagle Tee Golf Center 💚 Students had a great time making memories, chatting, laughing, and enjoying activities together. It was a fun way to celebrate friendships and wrap up the school year!

Last Friday, our K–6 Field Day was full of fun, laughter, and smiles! It was wonderful seeing students, teachers, and staff enjoying the beautiful day, running around, participating in games & water balloon activities, and making great memories together. Field Day included fun activities and a cookout lunch with hamburgers and hotdogs 🌭🍔

A big thank you to our parent volunteers and the ASL program students from Xavier University for helping make the day so special. What a beautiful and memorable day for everyone!

Part 1: Yesterday’s Heroes Shootout was a success! 💚 Our surprise opponent was Group Sales, a longtime partner and supporter of St. Rita School for the Deaf. It was fun watching our President Angie and some of our staff play basketball against their own family members, including brothers and daughters, during the game! Good thing there were no brothers and sisters fighting during the game! 😅

A few weeks ago, our students had the opportunity to participate in an Entrepreneurship Panel with volunteers from SCORE: Al Davis, Prakhar Mittal, and Shailah Maynard.

Students learned about entrepreneurship, business, each presenter’s personal pathway to entrepreneurship, and what it really takes to build and grow something meaningful. Our presenters also shared honest insight about challenges, setbacks, pivots, and how to keep momentum when working toward a goal.

We are grateful for their time and for providing our students with a valuable real-world learning experience!
